- 1.Well, I would suggest you leave you Amiga on all day or night, or as long as
- you can - this will recharge the clock battery. Once this is done, you
- hopefully should have no more problems.

- 2.Also, when you got your board, the battery probably WAS NOT in place - you
- would have need to push in in fully, or remove a slip of `paper` so it made
- contact... This seems most likely your problem! My GVP board instructions
- didn`t mention this about my board :( .

- 3.Some programs (*very* rare with recent programs) `crash` the clock -
- confusing it. The clock may have been in that state when you 1st got the
- board. To fix it, you will need to "Reset" it. I you will need to use a
- Shell command. It MIGHT be something like "SetClock Reset" - but you'll need
- to check.

- Anyway, actually replacing the battery is unlikely to solve your problem (very
- rare unless several years old). If you did, you'll need to get the right TYPE
- of battery.

- Oh, and be sure to "Save" the time with the clock prefs program - this will
- record the time in the board's clock.
